At Enlighten Academy, we specialize in helping families start or continue homeschooling by offering online curriculum, administrative support, and homeschool coaching for your family. We help families throughout the United States and abroad.
We know that starting the homeschooling journey can be stressful and confusing, but it doesn’t have to be. We take the guesswork out of homeschooling so you can feel confident about homeschooling your student from day 1 through graduation. It takes a village to homeschool, and we want to be a part of yours.
Expert Benefits
When you sign up to homeschool with Enlighten Academy, you receive the advising and support you need to successfully homeschool middle school and high school. We offer the expertise and guidance of an umbrella school with the encouragement only a veteran homeschool mom can give.
Think of us as the admissions office for your home school. We'll plan out your students classes and provide them with engaging video lessons for each subject. Next, we'll handle of the paperwork, grading, and student record keeping for you. We do the heavy lifting for you so you can relax knowing that your students are earning a quality education. We’re here to answer your questions, help you find the resources you need, and assist in a smooth transition for your student.

Meet the Owner
Welcome to Enlighten Academy!
My name is Janine Deems, and I'm the founder and CEO of Enlighten Academy. I've been a teacher and educational strategist the past 24 years and love helping students meet their educational goals.
I homeschooled my daughter from 4th grade to 12th grade, and know firsthand about the fears of starting to homeschool, how overwhelming it can be to choose a program/curriculum, classes, etc., and the importance of a quality education. I enjoy streamlining the homeschool process, strategizing the best path, making it affordable for every family, and offering support each step of the way.
